Bitcoin Expected to Rally Strongly by Late 2025, Says Saylor

Bitcoin’s Upward Pressure Building 🚀

Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, believes Bitcoin will “move up smartly again” toward the end of 2025 as current macro headwinds fade. In his recent CNBC interview, he explained that growing adoption by corporations and institutional investors is fueling demand beyond daily miner supply.

On average, Bitcoin miners generate about 900 BTC per day, yet businesses are acquiring 1,755 BTC daily, while ETFs scoop up another 1,430 BTC. This imbalance creates persistent upward pressure on the price.

Institutional Adoption at Scale 🏦

Saylor highlighted two types of companies driving the Bitcoin surge:

  1. Operating companies – Instead of paying dividends or buybacks, these firms allocate capital to Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset. This improves their balance sheets and strengthens long-term resilience.

  2. True treasury companies – These firms are capitalizing on Bitcoin as digital gold-backed capital, issuing equity and credit instruments supported by BTC. Saylor compared it to the past era of gold-backed credit, predicting Bitcoin will dominate global finance for the next 300 years.

Market Dynamics in 2025 📊

Bitcoin has recently traded between $111,000 and $117,000, with traders experiencing one of the largest liquidations of the year—nearly $2 billion. Analysts, however, suggest this was technical rather than fundamental weakness.

Saylor remains confident that institutional accumulation will overcome short-term volatility:

“As we work through resistance and macro headwinds, Bitcoin will start to move up smartly again toward the end of the year.”

Why This Matters for Crypto Investors 🌍

The continuous buy pressure from ETFs and corporations may set the stage for a strong year-end rally. With 145 companies already holding Bitcoin—including Strategy itself with 638,985 BTC—Saylor sees this as the early phase of a long-term financial transformation.

For investors, this signals that Bitcoin’s role as digital capital is accelerating, potentially reshaping both traditional markets and crypto adoption worldwide.
