Bitcoin $100K as Trump Teases ‘Big’ Trade Deal

Bitcoin hits $100,000 just because… of a Trump press conference?

This morning, the crypto market was shaken as Bitcoin surged close to $100,000 following a vague statement from former President Donald Trump about a “major tariff deal” that’s supposedly about to be announced.

The funny part? No one knows exactly which country is involved, and no concrete details have been revealed.
Yet Bitcoin has jumped over 5% in the past 24 hours, and bullish sentiment is now flooding social media.

Is the financial market becoming increasingly irrational?

In my view, seeing Bitcoin—or any risk asset—skyrocket purely based on the hope of an unclear deal is a worrying sign. It reflects a highly speculative mindset and an overreaction from investors, especially at a time when macro risks like inflation, sluggish production, and geopolitical tensions are still very real.

Sure, if the U.S. cuts tariffs on a major economy like the U.K., import costs might drop, inflation could ease, and capital might flow back into risk assets like crypto and tech.
But let’s be real: everything is still an if.

Are we investing—or just gambling on rumors?

I’m not denying the long-term potential of Bitcoin or crypto.
But when prices surge before a press conference even happens, we have to ask:
Is this a trustworthy market—or just a modern-day casino?

👉 What do you think? Is this massive Bitcoin rally justified, or just another case of collective FOMO?

🟢 Support this view: “Markets are reacting correctly, investors are pricing in macro opportunities ahead of time.”

🔴 Disagree: “This is mass delusion—just another speculative bubble driven by hype.”
